There are many glitches and exploits in Head Soccer. This is a list of all that have been reported.

Summary Edit

In many offline games there are glitches. Head Soccer contains many different glitches, some are really useful, some are not, and others are just amazing to watch but less effective. Some glitches only work on specific devices. Click here to vote for the glitch which you think is the best/most annoying. If a glitch does not work, don't remove it, it might be caused because you used a different device or did something wrong. It's also possible that D&D Dream have fixed a glitch, as they sometimes do, and then the glitch can be erased from this page. Just comment us and maybe we'll change it! Also leave a comment when you have found a new glitch or if the glitch description isn't right. Beside glitches, there are also mistakes in Head Soccer. Global glitchesEdit

These are the glitches that work in (almost) any Game mode during a match. The glitches that work in more than one Game mode, but not in any Game mode are on the bottom part of the Global glitches.

Argentina glitch Edit

Argentina Glitch

If you pause the game while Argentina's dragon is on his way to the opponent's goal, it will just continue, even while the pause screen is shown. If you restart the game, Argentina still has the ball and he will shoot it after a short amount of time, without the dragon. This is cool to watch, but it seems that the power shot is stronger if you don't use this glitch but just let Argentina do his power shot, as your opponent won't get fooled by the delay. This glitch can be compared with the South Africa glitch and the Cyborg glitch, but the Argentina glitch seems to be the least effective of the three.

Italy glitch Edit

When Italy uses his power shot and the opponent counters it and Italy counters it back, after about 4 or 5 times a random small ball appears in the middle of the field (same as during kick off) and it disappears again when it reaches the ground. This glitch has no special effect at all and it is quite a rare glitch as well. It can also happen when another character's power shot is countered multiple times.

If your opponent misses the first and second balls but touches the third one, his power shot will be wasted.

Cyborg glitch Edit

Cyborg glitch

If you pause the game while Cyborg uses his Damaged Power Shot, the missiles in his Power Shot just continue while the Pause screen is shown. When you restart the game, you'll see that the missiles are already gone and that the ball is shot towards the goal of the opponent immediately. This is a good trick to score more often out of Cyborg's Damaged Power Shot, because the chance that the ball goes in is much higher than normally. This Glitch is similar to the South Africa glitch.

Egypt glitch Edit

There is a good way to waste the time of a match away and not concede a goal when you're playing as Egypt. When you click pause when Egypt uses his power shot, the sand sculpture which normally blows the ball towards the goal, disappears. When you play on, the ball will keep rotating in the air for the whole rest of the match, and Egypt can't move at all anymore, and you won't concede any goals, so you can unlock some characters and get the No goals conceded achievement.

Egypt crashing game glitchEdit

When Egypt uses his Power Shot and you counter it while standing in your own goal, Egypt will score and you'll see the word 'Goal' on your screen, but when you shoot Egypt's shot, the game will crash.

Ireland glitch Edit

Ireland glitch

If you struggle with deflecting Ireland's Rainbow Shot, or with the rainbow balls which push you back in particular, try to stand on the exact same place as Ireland when he starts his shot. By doing this, you'll see that the rainbow balls which push you back normally, will disappear! This means that you have now degenerated Ireland's Rainbow Shot into a very simple straight-line shot, which is very easy to deflect. To use this trick properly, first jump at the place where Ireland is standing at the beginning of his shot, then move back and block the shot while still being in the air. If you practice it a bit, you'll get the hang of this glitch and it might help you by stopping Ireland's power shot.

Sweden glitch Edit

Sweden glitch

If you pause the game while Sweden uses his Power Shot, you can waste the Power Shot. The Viking ship will disappear in the back of the screen. If you restart the game, Sweden is still in the air and the ball is gone. After some seconds the ball can come back on the field, but Sweden won´t turn back to normal anymore, unless if you score a goal. This is a great way to unlock Uruguay if you do this in the Head Cup, because if you just keep the ball with you, you waste the time away and you can´t concede any goals.

South Africa glitch Edit

South Africa glitch

If you pause the game while South Africa's golem shoots the light beam or when he's just finished doing so, the golem will just continue moving and go for the opponent's goal. South Africa also jumps off the golem. When you restart the match, the ball will be shot immediately. You can use this glitch for both his air and ground shot. With his air shot it scores all the time, but it doesn't really make his ground shot better it seems, it only makes the ball go to normal size faster, but it's still cool to watch.

Austria pause glitch 1Edit

If you also pause the game during Austria's air shot, the three balls will be wasted. Use it when you are low on time or to make the shot even harder for your opponent to counter.

Austria pause glitch 2 Edit

When you pause the game at the moment when the three molten boulders of Austria's air shot are launched, but before the last boulder is shot, the catapult will ride out of the screen. When you continue the game afterwards, the ball will be gone for the whole rest of the match most of the time or it will come back after some time. This whole time, Austria also can't use Jump and Kick. If you use this in Head Cup, it might help you with unlocking Uruguay, because you can't concede any goals if there is no ball.

Saudi Arabia glitch Edit

If you use Saudi Arabia's Power Shot, the opponent mostly explodes and disappears. If this happens and you do your Power Shot again while he is still disappeared, he will be disappeared forever, until you score a goal. This is very useful if you want to waste the time away without conceding a goal, or if you want to be sure to score a goal, because with this glitch, there is nothing to stop you from scoring or taking much time to do so.

Switzerland glitch Edit

When Switzerland uses his counter attack, you can dash forward and then touch the snowball. The opponent will then disappear instead of you, just like the Singapore glitch, only it's harder to succeed and score a goal out of it.

Singapore glitchEdit

Play with Singapore, use his air shot, and run into your own shuriken. If it hits you, your opponent disappears, so this gives you a chance for open goal. This doesn't work when your opponent is Singapore.

Belgium glitch Edit

When the first note misses the goal, the second one goes in and the third one hits the opponent, the opponent's power shot will be wasted.

Belgium pause glitch 1 Edit

If you quickly click pause and resume while Belgium uses his air shot, the first (and sometimes also the second) note will miss the goal.

Belgium pause glitch 2 Edit

If you pause while you are dancing after getting hit by Belgium's air shot and wait for a few seconds, the dancing player will disappear, and when you resume again the player is back to normal.

Uruguay glitch Edit

If your sound and music (in Head Soccer) are off, but your media volume is on, you can still hear Uruguay's soldiers walking.

India ground shot glitch Edit

If India applies his ground shot with some rocks in between him and his opponent (due to France's Ground Shot for example), the shot will hit the stones and the fire will disappear. Everything will go back to normal, wasting India's ground shot.

Crashing game glitch Edit

This glitch is almost the same as the Play with any character glitch and it also works only for Survival, the three Leagues and Head Cup. Give up a Survival or League game and then go back. When the game asks if you want to continue, swipe right or left in the background until you have selected Coming Soon. Then click No, and the game will crash. To do this with the Head Cup, click next, then swipe to Coming Soon when it asks you if you want to spend 5,000 points, and click Yes. But with the Head Cup, you lose those 5,000 points, so it´s pretty useless.

Extra goals glitch 1Edit

Sometimes if your opponent/you make a goal, the ball sometimes stalls in the air, and your opponent/you get an extra goal without doing anything. This is also one of the most annoying glitches in the game. Mostly, someone gets 1 to 4 goals. In the newest update, the ball moves down after the words "GOAL" appear.

Extra goal glitch 2Edit

If you waste Germany's power and counter the wasted shot, you will get an extra goal without any time consumption. This glitch is often used to break "most goals" high scores, but does not always work.

Flying glitchEdit

If you dash under your opponent, he'll fly high into the air. Also works the other way round. If you jump you will fly even higher, however this is a rare glitch. It can also happen when you try to dash on top of a giant football.

Pause play glitch Edit

If you pause and quickly resume and click pause again, sometimes you can just play on even while the pause screen is shown. This works only for Android. This seems to work only when a power shot is used or if a goal is scored.

Pause power glitch Edit

Press the pause button when playing a match. You can press the power button in the pause menu and your player will have his power activated. If you do this with India close to the opponent you will see him taking damage and if you press resume he will fly up and then fall down so you can take your power shot before the opponent returns.

Play with any character glitch Edit

Play with any character glitch

This glitch works only for Survival and the three Leagues and is a bit similar to the Crashing game glitch. Give up a Survival or League game and then go back. While the "Would you like to continue?" message appears, swipe right or left until you have selected the character you want to play with. Then click No, and you will be able to use that character. For Head Cup this glitch works as well, but it is a bit different. When you have the screen which asks you if you want to spend 5,000 points to play Head Cup, click on Upgrade or Costume in the bottom of the screen. Then, click on Back, and it is possible to move the background again, so you can choose the character you'd like to be.

Power shot glitch Edit

Sometimes if you use your power shot with Russia, Cameroon, China, Netherlands and Egypt and you move or dash, the power shot effect is used on you instead of the opponent. This is also one of the most annoying glitches in the game, so don't walk or dash forward when you use your power shot while playing as one of these characters, because sometimes you get hit with your own power shot. When Z does that, the game will crash.

Power wasting glitchEdit

When a power shot gets blocked by your opponent slightly behind the goal line with power activated, his power shot will mostly be used despite you've already scored, wasting it. Also works the other way around, so watch out. Some characters can waste power in other ways. For this, see the Belgium glitch and the Germany glitch.

Screen glitch

Screen glitch Edit

When you have finished the Group stage in the Head Cup and you press the Kick off button several times very fast, the Knockout stage screen closes and you can't finish the Head Cup. This glitch also works when you start a Tournament, but then the screen is on the wrong position, as you can see on the photo on the right.

Two power shots at the same time glitch Edit

When you and your opponent get the ball at the exact same time, both with your power activated, both power shots will be used at the same time. This is amazing to watch, but usually the quicker power shot will score and the other one will be wasted.

Portugal GlitchEdit

If Portugal uses his power shot very close to the goal, the shot will miss and he will leave the screen, not returning until a goal is scored

Glitches that only work in the Arcade mode.

---

Asura and Pluto glitch / Choose your own game glitchEdit

For this glitch you need to be able to play against Asura. If you are asked if you want to spend 50.000 points, swipe on the left and the right side up and down to select new characters. This works, because the background is still working. If you have selected the characters you wanted, click yes and you will be able to play this match. If "Coming soon" is selected on any side, the game will crash, wasting your points. This glitch works the same with Pluto, but then you only have to play 20.000 points. This glitch doesn't work anymore if you have unlocked Asura or Pluto.

Serbia unlock glitchEdit

Serbia unlock glitch

To unlock Serbia, you have to beat 60 Characters in Arcade without getting injured. But this is almost impossible to achieve against opponents like Ecuador, India, Asura, Hungary and Serbia herself. But there is a glitch to help you out: Use Ukraine. Because after you have activated your Power Button Effect, it's impossible for you to get injured, no matter if you get kicked, hit by a Power Shot or hit by a Power Button Effect. Even when Ukraine yells "Ow!", the Without injured achievement emblem won't disappear. So everytime before your opponent uses his Power Shot, you have to make sure that you have your own Power Shot ready. This tactic works even better when your Power is upgraded to the maximum.

---

2 balls glitch

2 balls glitch Edit

This works only if you haven't got Kepler 22B yet. Sometimes in the Tournament final Kepler 22B's UFO appears. And sometimes when United Kingdom's power shot hits the UFO, the ball will freeze in place, while the rays of the shot just go on. The match will then restart, because you hit the UFO. The frozen ball will appear in middle but it isn't real and you can't kick it. This ball remains just there until a goal is scored with the real ball.

Survival glitchesEdit

Glitches that only work in Survival mode.

Cyborg unlock glitch 1Edit

Lose against Cyborg in Survival, or win and then click on Title in the next stage, and close the game via multitasking. Then restart the game and you will have unlocked Cyborg.

Cyborg unlock glitch 2Edit

Another way to unlock Cyborg is to use the 'play with any character exploit' on Survival to play as Hong Kong. Play normally in Survival until you lose and you may unlock the Cyborg. But this exploit only works half the time.

---

Chile, Egypt, Colombia and Hong Kong unlock glitch Edit

I'll use Hong Kong here as an example. To unlock Hong Kong you have to win SS Rank in Survival without using kick, jump, and power shot. This is almost impossible, so use this glitch to unlock Hong Kong. Just use kick, jump and power shot, until you are at stage 70. Pause the stage 70 game and go to another Game mode. Play a game there without using jump, kick and power shot. You can also just pause the match without using them and go back to Survival. If you continue stage 70, the game says you didn´t use your power shot, kick and jump (which you actually did). The only thing you have to do now is beating Cyborg without using kick, jump and power shot. Do the same with unlocking Chile (without using dash), Egypt (without using power shot) and Colombia (without using kick). So just do what you want the first 69 stages, then pause stage 70, go to another Game mode, go back to Survival and beat Cyborg in stage 70 without using dash (Chile), power shot (Egypt) or kick (Colombia) and you will unlock these characters.

Greece unlock glitch / Easy Survival game glitch Edit

To unlock Greece, you have to reach SS rank without conceding more than 5 goals. But this is very hard, so use the following glitch, which you can use on every stage, except stage 1. Pause the stage immediately, go to another Game mode and play a match against an easy character and also choose your own character. For example, go to Arcade mode, select France as your character and South Korea as your opponent. You don't have to finish this game. Then, go back to Survival mode and continue it. You will see the exact same game as in the previous game in the other Game mode. So now, you are France and your opponent is South Korea and now it´s much easier to reach far in Survival and you will concede less goals, so that you can maybe unlock Greece. But the opponent you have chosen will only remain for one stage, so you have to do this glitch every stage again. This is much work, so maybe it´s better to do this on higher stages when you face hard opponents, and if you think you can win a stage the regular way without conceding a goal, do it and only use this glitch for hard stages. It also doesn't work with Rank matches, because in those matches your opponent will always be Cyborg. And if you use the glitch, you will only have one minute to play, regardless of which Survival stage it is. It's also a useful glitch if you want to change your own character while doing Survival.

3 bonus balls glitch Edit

This is a very annoying glitch. Sometimes if you have played a Survival game but didn't finish it, and you go back to Survival to finish it, you only have 3 balls left, while you actually had more Bonus balls. And starting Survival again won't help, because you don't get your Bonus balls back. Sometimes if you stay long on the screen "Touch to kick off", you get all your Bonus balls back, but this works seldom.

Costume glitchEdit

Play Survival with any character until you face the Cyborg. Then give up the game and go to any other Game mode. If your opponent wears a costume you want to have, give up that game, go back to Survival and continue the Survival game. In this Survival game, Cyborg will wear that costume, and if you beat Cyborg you have unlocked the costume. Note that you still have to buy the costume with points. Or if you beat the first opponent on Survival and against the second opponent when the ball is dropped you click pause and go to the title screen. Then you double tap and close out of the app. After doing this, go back into the game and do a tournament. You can keep quitting out of the first match until you find a hat you like. Then once you find one, pause the game and go to the title screen. Go into Survival and select play. It will ask you if you want to continue a previous match and you click yes. It goes to round 0 in Survival against the Cyborg and you only get one life no matter how much you upgraded Survival. If you win you receive the hat and it goes to round one so you can continue to do the glitch from the beginning. Note: the rank 0 match may let you use the character who was wearing the hat in the tournament, but this does not always happen, the results are not changed in either scenario.

Stage 0 glitch 1 Edit

Stage 0 glitch 1 and 2

Warning: This glitch erases your Survival progress, but you can turn it into your advantage. To use this glitch, give up any Survival match (but not the first one) and close the game via multitasking. Then reopen it, go to any other Game mode and play a game against Cyborg. If you want to continue your Survival, you'll be in stage 0, facing Cyborg. The useful thing about this, is that the costume glitch works. Both you and your opponent only have one Bonus ball, so it's actually a Sudden Death situation. You won't get any extra Bonus balls in this stage. If you win, the game just continues as if you have never played stage 0, only your costume (if you have unlocked one) and the 20 points you get, stay. If you use the Stage 0 Glitch in combination with the Costume Glitch, you can unlock (SS rank) costumes and Portugal easily, by only scoring one goal!

Stage 0 glitch 2 Edit

Warning, this glitch also erases your progress, but doesn't help you at all, so the first Stage 0 glitch should prove more beneficial. If you play in Survival until you face Cyborg, and then exit the Survival and face South Korea, when you continue playing Survival, you will be at stage zero. This only works with South Korea. If you do it with any other character, survival will resume as usual, but the Cyborg will behave slightly differently. If you do it to a character that's not Cyborg, it will change and it won't erase your progress.

League glitchesEdit

Glitches that only work in the Amateur, Minor and Major League.

Crashing game glitch 1 Edit

In the League there is a glitch to crash Head Soccer. Go to one of the three Leagues. When you are on the Character select screen, click on Costumes in the left bottom corner of your screen. If you do that and you click on back, the game will crash.

Finish League at Stage 17 glitch/Crashing game glitch 2 Edit

Go to Stage 17, and when the game starts, pause it, and press Title. Mostly, it will show that the League is finished. Use this glitch to win without having to play Stage 18. But sometimes, the game will crash.

Ladder glitch

Ladder glitch Edit

When you finish a game in any League, close the game via multitasking. When you reopen the League you just closed, it'll show the ladder in a different order. However, after you have played a game, the ladder will be back to normal.

Play with any character glitchEdit

Start a League with any character and give up the first game. Click Back in the upper left corner and then Next in the right bottom corner. While the message 'Do you want to continue?' appears, swipe left and right until you have selected the character you want to play with. Then click no and enjoy.

Head Cup glitchesEdit

All glitches that only work in the Head Cup.

Conceded goals glitchEdit

If you play a game in the Head Cup, you can see how many goals you have conceded. If you press on Give up in a match in the group stage, it says you have lost with 5-0, but it also says that you didn't concede a single goal. This is a mistake, but it has the advantage that this can make it easier to unlock Uruguay, so it's a glitch too. For example, if you have won the first two group stage games, you are probably sure to go through to the Knockout stage, so then you can give up the last match and you won't concede a goal.

Knockout stage glitch Edit

If you play in the Head Cup and you reach the Knockout stage, and you win a game, and you click on Play too fast, you have to play against the same character you have just beat. If you win against him, the game doesn't go further, so you have to give up without getting any reward. This is a very annoying glitch when you play the Head Cup.

Play with any character glitch Edit

While you are asked if you want to spend 5,000 points, click on Upgrade or Costume in the bottom of the screen. Then, click on Back, and it is possible to move the background again! So swipe right or left to select any character you want to play with, even a character which you haven't unlocked yet. Then click yes and you can play as that character. Use this glitch to play with Mon-K, which will give you double point rewards. So even after the 3.4 update, in which the glitch was 'fixed' you can still use it! Only the way to do it is a bit different now.

These glitches are just for fun.

Costume glitchEdit

If you swipe quickly enough through the costume page towards the end, to make sure that no costume is visible on the screen anymore, the game will crash.

Pause glitchEdit

If you press the Pause button in the top right corner several times, the options in the pause menu will change position. This works on Android devices.

Swipe glitch Edit

If you swipe quickly in opposite directions, so left and right for example, at the same time, in the character select screen of any mode, the characters will change position or completely disappear.

Money glitch Edit

If you have watched a video, it says you have to wait before you can watch another one, an hour for instance. If you want to watch the video to get free points without waiting an hour, go out of the game and move the clock on your mobile one hour forward. Then go back to Head Soccer and you can immediately watch the video.
